I enjoy my solitude but everyone needs someone.
I just wanna be two normal fucking people who like eachother and like to show eachother that they like eachother and aren’t constantly at odds with eachother. It is EXHAUSTING. We need to relax. It’s like what is the point? Why do we insist on complicating everything? Sure the world tells us relationships have to be hard, they have to be complicated and you have to consider all of these things before even having one, there are all these obstacles you have to overcome, blah blah blah. And sure that can be completely true. But sometimes, just SOMETIMES, can’t we just keep it SIMPLE? Can’t we just do our own thing, can’t we be in a relationship because of what it means to us, not what it means to the world? Can’t we make our own rules to follow? Can’t we just live our lives the way we want to without worrying about other people?! CAN’T WE? Who says we can’t? Like really. Who the fuck says we can’t. And circumstances? Fuck circumstances. We create our circumstances, I mean for the most part. There are tons of things you can’t control and life is hard and unfair, I got it. But this, I don’t know, this is something we can do, this is something we can make work, something we can make beautiful. Ok enough of this sappy crap. I’m going to sleep.
When you grow up and start being very realistic about your view of the world and the choices you make, realizing what matters and what doesn’t, be just as realistic about the fact that just becus you’ve done this, doesn’t mean the rest of the world has too. Your friends? Nope, neither have they. Don’t get me wrong, you’ll find a few here and there that “get” it, I mean really GET IT maybe even “get” you, but don’t expect very many to. Some will be new and some will be old but believe me they’ll be few and far between. Try not to get too frustrated and impatient, just remind yourself that you should feel so lucky being where you are now, thinking the way you think now. The rest of those people? They have a long way to go. A long way that you’ve already been through. Imagine what’s coming up next.
